PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a unit type building capable of efficiently providing an outside corridor. SOLUTION: A unit type building 11 is so constituted that external walls 18A on one side of living room sections 17 and external walls 18 are provided to positions backward from one side of the bottom sections 19, and it includes setback units 14 used as outside corridors 21 on the bottom sections 19A without the living room sections 17. Then, three setback units 14 are arranged to each floor of 1-3 floors, A plurality of setback units 14 arranged to every floor are so constituted that the outside corridors 21 are continued to form the outside corridor in the same floor. The setback units 14 arranged to each floor of 1-3 floors are so constituted that the outside corridors 21 take the same positions in the vertical direction. Balustrade walls 22 are provided at the outside corridors 21.
