摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a thin, lightweight, and low cost hard plate used for can-top materials of beverage cans or the like. SOLUTION: In this manufacturing method of the hard plate of an aluminum alloy, using the aluminum alloy material containing 2.0-5.5% Mg as an indispensable constituent, as necessary, one or more kinds of 0.05-0.3% Cu, 0.2-0.9% Mn, 0.05-0.25% Cr, the material is cold-rolled down to a product thickness at a drat of 60-85% with a different circumferential speed rolling mill the ratio of rotational speed of upper and lower rolls of which is 1.2-1.8. By this different circumferential speed cold rolling, the strength is improved without lowering the formability of the hard plate and the material can be made thin and lightweight without increasing the manufacturing cost.
