PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a rotary driving device in a diameter direction. SOLUTION: A self-aligning mechanism 10 is provided with a case main body 17 forming an annular moving space 24, two or more balancing members 16, 16,..., housed movably in the moving space of the case main body 17, and an attracting magnet 18 for attracting each balancing member 16 on a rotational center side during stoppage or low-speed rotation. The attracting magnet 18 is attached to a surface (lower horizontal wall 23 of a yoke member 21) orthogonal to a spindle shaft 11 in the moving space 24.
