PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently add a new picture and to easily prepare a digital album by deciding whether or not the digital album is in an opened state in a display part and, when the album is not opened adding picture data to be inputted to a newly prepared digital album. SOLUTION: An input part 6 comprises a card interface of a picture input device such as a digital camera or a video camera. When the card is inserted, to fetch picture information such as a digital photograph is instructed from the picture input device to be connected. A control part 7 decides whether or not a digital album is in an opened state in a display part 4 when there is the input instruction of the picture data by the input part 6. Then, if the digital album is not opened, an empty album is prepared and a photograph is added to the prepared digital album. Also, when the digital album is opened, the photograph is added to the digital album.
