PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a warm air heater capable of temperature control without producing dew condensation on a heat exchanger in an antifreezing operation. SOLUTION: A warm air heater for heating the inside of a room by making use of warm air sent from a heat exchanger that includes a heater apparatus and sucks indoor air includes a room temperature sensor 26 for detecting indoor temperature, a room temperature setting switch 30 for setting antifreezing temperature where indoor equipment is prevented from being frozen, and an operation control means 33 for controlling the heater apparatus. The heater apparatus 5 is actuated when detection room temperature becomes below the antifreezing temperature. The operation control means 33 controls a lower limit where there is set as a larger heating amount larger than that where dew condensation is produced on the heat exchanger or controls the heating amount with the aid of heat amount setting means 36.
