PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe installation truck capable of reducing the inside diameter of a tunnel during the pipe installation work in the tunnel. SOLUTION: A frame 12 extending in the axial direction of a pipe P is provided with expandable supporting mechanisms 14a-14c for supporting the pipe P from inside and with main wheels 16 placed at both ends of the frame 12, to constitute a pipe installation truck 10. The frame 12, the main wheels 16, and the supporting mechanisms 14a-14c are so arranged that the frame 12 is inserted into the pipe P with the main wheels 16 placed outside from both ends of the pipe P, and that the treads of the main wheels 16 face radially outward of the pipe P while the pipe P is supported by the supporting mechanisms 14a-14c.
