PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threading method, capable of surely piecing without causing the clogging of a parent yarn in a spindle by once stopping feeding rollers in the middle of a threading operation, jetting air from a spinning nozzle for a prescribed time, and subsequently restarting the threading operation to thread the yarn. SOLUTION: This method for threading comprises once stopping feeding rollers R in the middle of a threading operation, jetting air from a spinning nozzle N for a prescribed time, and subsequently restarting the threading operation. Therein, a spindle portion S is approachably or separably disposed between a spinning position approaching the spinning nozzle portion N and a waiting position apart from the spinning nozzle portion N. It is preferable that the jetting of air from the spinning nozzle portion N for the prescribed time is carried out, when the spindle portion S separated on the start of the piecing is rejoined to the spinning nozzle N. The jetting of air from the spinning nozzle is intermittently carried out.
