PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a flaw such as a thin-walled part, rupture or wrinkles at the time of deep drawing by a method wherein a sheet is grasped by the opposed cams protruded from molds and smoothly sent into the cavity formed by the molds by necessary length by the rotation of the cams at the time of mold clamping. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is grasped by opposed cams at the time of mold clamping to be fixed by the points P1, P1' and P2, P2' of the cams. The cams are provided so that the leading end parts of the cams are energized so as to always protrude toward a cavity from molds by coil springs or the shift of the centers of gravity of the cams themselves. Further, when the sheet is grasped by the cams, the protruding part of an upper mold may not come into contact with the sheet. |
