<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier plastic container and a method of manufacturing it where in it shows superior barrier characteristic, a high transparency, impact resistance and a high flexibility. SOLUTION: This plastic container 1 has a barrier layer only at an inner surface of it. This barrier layer contains at least one kind of compound comprised of at least one or more than two kinds selected from among silicon oxide, carbon, hydrogen, silicon and oxygen. A method of manufacture of this plastic container 1 is carried out such that the plastic container 1 is set within an external electrode 2 to cover it, a gas feeding pipe 3 acting as an earth 5 and a gas discharging port 4 are set, an area across the plastic container 1 is vacuum drawn under the application of a vacuum pump, organic silicon compound vapor and gas having oxidization power and the like are flowed from the gas feeding pipe 3, a high frequency power supply 6 is applied to the external electrode 2 to generate plasma within the plastic container 1 and then a film is formed.</p> |
