<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve joint strength and reliability of a combination of a balustrade and a handrail body thereof, and to reduce a hardening time period of a cementing material. SOLUTION: In a combination of a balustrade panel 3 of a balustrade 1 and a handrail body 4 of the same, an inverted U-shaped groove 4A is formed at a lower side of the handrail body 4 such that the groove has a plurality of bumpy grooves 4C and a ventilation portion 4D on its internal peripheral surface. The thus formed groove 4A is mounted on an upper edge 3A of the balustrade panel 3. Further, a void W about 1 mm in width is defined between the upper edge 3A and the inverted U-shaped groove 4A, into which a polyurethane cementing material 5 is charged, to thereby securely join the handrail body to the balustrade panel in one body.</p> |
