PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device capable of improving the quality of image formed on a recording paper sheet by equalizing the distance between a photoreceptor drum and a developing roller in a developing area at the time of image forming. SOLUTION: This developing device is provided with the developing roller 117 feeding toner on the photoreceptor drum 102, and the developing roller 117 is composed in a shape that its center part 117a in the lengthwise direction thereof is thinner as compared to both end parts 117b in the lengthwise direction of the same. As a result of the above, when the developing roller 117 receives various kind of force, the center part 117a of the developing roller 117 is pressed toward the photoreceptor drum 102 side, and thus the distance between the developing roller 117 and the photoreceptor drum 102 is equalized. |
