PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fancy fish aquarium capable of enlarging the strength of a bottom plate of the aquarium, reducing the breakage rate of a bottom glass plate disposed on the bottom plate and further reducing a damage rate by half to simplify a repairing work, even when the bottom glass is broken, by dividing the bottom glass plate into plural divisions by the use of a division projection disposed on the surface of the bottom plate. SOLUTION: This aquarium for fancy fishes is obtained by forming a division projection 7 for dividing a bottom plate 5 forming the bottom portion 1 of the aquarium into plural divisions at a place binding the bottom frames of both front and rear surface glass plates 2, 3 to each other on the surface of the bottom plate 5, and subsequently disposing bottom glass plates 12, 12 on the bottom plates 5, 5 on both the sides of the division projections 7.
