PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polysilane-coating paper having improved toughness, creep resistance, water-proof properties and water repellency without being controlled by an external environmental temperature by coating a coating liquid containing a specific polysilane compound on a base paper. SOLUTION: This polysilane-coating paper is obtained by coating a polysilane compound having 5,000-60,000 molecular weight such as a compound of the formula [R1, R5 and R6 are each a 1-3C alkyl; (x), (y) and (z) are each an integer of 1-3; R2, R3 and R4 are each a linear or cyclic group composed of C and H, or C, O and H], a compound obtained by condensing the compound of the formula by a siloxane bond, and a compound formed into a polymer by an epoxy ring-opening polymerization thereof, on a paper. The polysilane-coating paper has a bending moment (JIS P 8125) >=7% larger than that of the base paper, a wet tensile strength (JIS P 8113) >=20% larger than that of the dried base paper, and >=R9 water repellency (JIS P 8137) on the treated face.
