PURPOSE:To control the current supplied from 8 boosting power circuit at a fixed level in order to drive a current drive type switching element. CONSTITUTION:A current detector 17 detects the current supplied from a boosting power circuit 14 in order to drive a current drive type switching element 12 containing a load 11 at the ground side. A boosting control circuit 16 controls the circuit 14 so as to keep the detected current at s fixed level. As a result, the current which drives the element 12 is not decided by the resistance and therefore the power loss and the generation of heat caused by the resistance can be eliminated. |
