PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pass box in which documents and small articles are not mixed upon delivery thereof and it is made compact and light weight. SOLUTION: In a pass box provided passing through a wall for insulating the inside and outside of a room different in air cleanliness, there are provided intake holes 11, 12 for articles and takeout holes 13, 14 for articles on a portion of the pass box facing between the chambers of the pass box 1, and there are further provided covers 21, 22 over the insertion holes which can be opened and closed toward the inside of the box and are energized in a closing direction with an elastic member and the like together with doors 23, 24 provided at the takeout holes. There is further provided a compartment member 30 for defining a lower portion in the pass box located under the insertion holes to two portions corresponding to the takeout holes. Tip ends of the covers 21, 22 are located at an upper end of the compartment member 30 in the state where the covers 21, 22 over the insertion holes are fallen inwardly.
