PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card type game machine capable of suppressing illegal actions for causing malfunctions in a winning ball sensor for detecting winning balls to respective winning ports altogether and to inhibit the utilization of the card type game machine in a game shop where a ball lending card system is not introduced. SOLUTION: A game controller 101 which receives prize ball signals from a detector for individually detecting the winning balls provided for the respective winning ports sends out the prize ball signals relating to a prize ball number corresponding to the respective winning ports and a ball lending controller 15 sends out lending ball signals based on a conversion request for converting the valuable data of a card to the prescribed number of balls. A game ball discharge controller 58 for driving first and second discharge solenoids 79a and 79b and discharging the prescribed number of the balls based on the prize ball signals from the game controller 101 or the ball lending signals from the ball lending controller 15 makes a hitting stop relay 60 function and inactivates a game ball hitting operation in this game machine at the time of not being connected in a state capable of transmission and reception with the ball lending controller 15.
