PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a metallic fiber sheet, having a sheet strength allowing the sheet to be easily handled even in a step before a sintering step, and further having a luster peculiar to a metal even after the sintering. SOLUTION: A paper-making apparatus 1 for carrying out paper-making of a metallic fiber sheet S2 by a wet paper-making method carries aut each process formed so as to comprise a paper-making step 20 for carrying out the paper-making of a raw material slurry S1 including one or more kinds of metallic fibers, and a fiber-interlacing treatment step 30 for mutually interlacing the metallic fibers. The fiber-interlacing treatment step 30 is performed by jetting high-pressure jet water current W1 and W2 to the metallic fiber sheet S2 from a shower nozzle 31. Because the fiber-interlacing treatment step 30 is included, the metallic fibers of the metallic fiber sheet S2 are mutually interlaced, and the sheet strength of the metallic fiber sheet S2 after the paper- making can be kept even if an organic binder or the like is not added.
