PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming device capable of obtaining a sure stable contact state between an image carrier and an abutting member, and whose durability and operability are improved, and also which can be surely driven. SOLUTION: A thin-shaped flexible cylindrical image carrier 140 is supported by a pair of disk-like members rotatably attached to a shaft 110 which does not rotate by itself, and a backup drum 150 for supporting the image carrier 140 from the inside at a position T where a cleaning member 210 is brought into contact with the image carrier 140 from the outside is rotatably installed on the shaft 110 with an eccentric bearing 154. The eccentric direction of the drum is set so that the drum may be eccentric toward the upstream side from the position T where the image carrier comes into contact with the cleaning member in the image carrier rotating direction. |
