PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow easy packaging on a printed board without using special tools. SOLUTION: A press fitting portion 2 of a contact 1 inserted in a through- hole 5 of a printed board 4 is heated to a recovery possible temperature and the rear recovery portion 2a and front recovery portion 2b of the pass fitting portion 2 are put in press contact with the peripheral wall of the through-hole 5, so that the contact 1 can be mounted on a printed board 4 and electrically connected thereto. Therefore, the contact 1 can be easily packaged without using a press fitting tool, compared to prior art that the press fitting portion is press fitted therein and still need for precisely forming the through-hole 5 of the printed board 4 is eliminated, resulting in a higher yield and a lower cost. |
