SOLUTION: A coating material-testing device for measuring the amount of wear by rolling a roller 3 for measurement onto a coating material C being provided on an object to be tested in vacuum is provided with a vacuum container for reducing pressure to vacuum state by installing the object to be tested inside, a roller support mechanism for rolling the roller 3 for measurement in a vacuum container in contact with a coating material surface with a specific pressure by supporting the roller 3 for measurement rotatably, and an amount-of- wear measurement mechanism 8 for measuring the amount of wear of the coating material C by measuring the distance between a reference member that is arranged with a constant interval to the object to be tested and the roller 3 for measurement to be rolled.
