IMPERMEABLE SHEET AND IMPERMEABLE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform impermeable works by a superior workability by integrally bonding a fiber cloth layer having a prescribed length of pile on its surface to a water resistant layer and by setting it as a laminated element. SOLUTION: An impermeable sheet 1 is provided by a laminated element formed by integrally bonding a fiber cloth layer 11, or a mesh cloth of knot 3-50 mm having a pile 8 of length 1 mm or more on a water resistant layer 10, or an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer layer. A fiber cloth drain layer is provided in an un-bonded face side of the fiber cloth layer 11 in the water resistant layer 10. The impermeable sheet 1 is laid on a tunnel wall face composed of a rock layer and/or a ground layer with its surface having the pile 8 faced to the frontmost face and the water resistant material is applied on the surface having the pile 8 so as to be hardened. This constitution enables the impermeable works efficiently at superior workability.
