PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with a trouble of replacing a guide means when the number of rows of a storing space in a box is changed. SOLUTION: An article guide apparatus 8 includes a guide means 12 for guiding containers 3 into a box 2. This guide means 12 is provided on an elevation frame 13 and is vertically moved by an elevation mechanism 14. The guide means 12 has guide holes 15 in two rows, and guide pieces 16A, 16A in the set of four pieces are provided in each of the guide holes 15. The guide means 12 is designed so as to be capable of horizontally moving on the elevation frame 13. The containers 3 are inserted into one of storing spaces 2A for two rows in the box 2 by the guide means 12 and, then, after the guide means 12 is parallely moved rightward, other containers 3 are stored in the remaining storing space 2A for two rows in the box 2.
