摘要 |
A recombinant plasmid useful for the production of large-insert episomes in mammalian and bacterial cells comprises a lymphotrophic herpes virus segment which (a) contains an origin of plasmid replication (oriP) and a heterologous origin of bacterial replication, and (b) is maintained as an episome in both bacterial and mammalian host cells; and a heterologous insert segment linked to the lymphotrophic herpes virus segment. The heterologous insert segment has a length of at least 50 kilobases. |
