PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably stand a candle upright and to stabilize a burning by engaging a male screw provided on a core with a female screw provided on a center of a dish and vertically moving the core by a rotation of the dish. SOLUTION: A lower portion of a core 1 made of a quadrangular stainless steel bar having a side length of 1.5 mm is fixed to a cylinder 7 made of brass and having a diameter of approximately 6 mm and a male screw thread is provided on a surface of the cylinder 7. A corresponding female screw thread is provided on an inner surface portion of a groove 5 of a body vertically provided at a center of a candlestand. A quadrangular hole having a side length of 1.5 mm is provided on a center of a dish 2 made of brass and the core 1 is inserted into the hole to join a lower end of the dish 2 to an upper end of the body 4. When the dish 2 is rotated in adjustment to a size of the candle and a shortening accompanying with a burning, the core 1 is vertically moved along the screw thread. A length of the core 1 of the candlestand is adjusted and the core 1 can be thinned. A flame variation of the candle is inhibited and the candle is stably burned to the final. An upright standing of the candle can be stably maintained without shaking and falling down the candle.
