PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to ensure light shielding to the inside of a film cartridge by controlling a series of film loading operations. SOLUTION: A film cartridge housing chamber cap 2 which is a cap member to open and close an aperture 1p is disposed freely turnably in an arrow A direction near this aperture 1p. The side wall 1y of the cartridge chamber 1 is provided with a locking part 2a and a locking lever 3. This locking part 2 and the hook part 3a of the locking lever 3 are engaged, by which the housing chamber cap 2 is put into a close state. An electrical contact 4a and a switch pattern 5a come into contact with each other or part therefrom by accompanying the turning action of the locking lever 3, by which the cap closure is detected. The side wall 1y of the cartridge chamber 1 is provided with a guide groove 1m of a rectangular shape in the position verging on the peripheral edge of the front surface 1x from the position near the front surface of this side wall, by which a discharge member 6 is freely slidably guided. The front surface 1x of the cartridge chamber 1 is provided with light shielding and door opening/closing means consisting of an opening/closing fork member 7, a fork spring 10 and a fork driving means 8.
