PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a timber insect pests-controlling composition that can manifest the excellent controlling effect against a variety of timber insect pests, for example, coptotermes formosanus with a reduced dose by using a specific neonicotinoid compound and fenobucarb as active ingredients. SOLUTION: The objective timber insect pests-controlling composition comprises (A) a neonicotinoid compound represented by formulas I, II or III [A is 6-chloro-3-pyridyl, 2-chloro-5-thiazolyl or the like; R1 is H, methyl or the like; R2 is methyl, amino or the like; R3 is methyl, ethyl or the like; X is N, CH; Y is cyano, nitro or the like; Z is NH, S; D is O, -N(CH3)-; m is 0 or 1; n is 2 or 3], typically (E)-N1-[(6-chloro-3-pyridyl)methyl]-N2-cyano-N1- methylacet-amidine or the like and (B) fenobucarb, preferably at a weight ratio of 100/1-1/100.
