PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer member for a bag, in which upper ends of side sheets can be stuck to each other without the occurrence of wrinkles. SOLUTION: In this transfer member 10 for a bag 1, an upper part of a wall 17 is made in the form of a protruding portion 18 protruding toward the side of the bag from the lower part of the wall 17, and the uppermost part 18A of the protruding portion 18 is provided in a position at a level corresponding to at least one half of, the height of the bag 1. This transfer member 10 is made of for example, a synthetic resin, and is provided with a bottom 12 at the lower part of a body 11, a bag inserting port 13 at the upper part thereof and a bag containing portion 14 inside the body 11. The bottom 12 has a through-hole 15, which is used for the insertion or the like of a push-up tool for the bag 1.
