PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a page throughput by binding a complexity indicia to a band of a page being constituted for video imaging and carrying out a memory management task to the band while the page awaits at a page pipe to be imaged. SOLUTION: A data factor 910 indicative of complexity shows a complexity cost of a video imaging band 905. While a display list, i.e., the video imaging band 905 is being constructed, that is, a page is being constituted, the complexity cost recorded to the data factor 910 indicative of complexity is accumulated. The data factor 910 indicative of complexity is calculated to be usable when the band passes and advances through a page pipe and is bound to the video imaging band 905. The memory band is managed after the page is completely constituted and while the page awaits for video imaging. A page throughput is thus improved.
