PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state laser device which can efficiently optically excite a laser rod. SOLUTION: A solid-state laser device which outputs a laser beam by optically exciting a laser rod 14 is provided with a first tube 11 which houses the laser rod 14 and, at the same time, through which a coolant X is passed for cooling the laser rod 14, a semiconductor laser 22 which is arranged on the outside of the tube 11 and outputs exciting light which optically excites the laser rod 14 through the tube 11, and a diffusing surface 23 which is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the tube 11 and diffuses the exciting light made incident on the tube 11. |
