PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency of work to connect to a connecting terminal and wire winding work by forming the portions of a field winding other than its winding start portion and winding end portion so that they have a rectangular cross section. SOLUTION: The portions of a field winding 20 other than its winding start portion and winding end portion are deformed into a rectangular cross section. The winding start portion of the field winding 20 is wound on an anchoring portion 16c of a bobbin 16 and is pulled from the inner circumferential end of a U-shaped groove 161 into a cylindrical portion 16a along the inner wall face of flange portions 16b. The field winding 20 pulled out is aligned in the axial direction and is wound on a cylindrical portion 16a from one flange portion 16b toward the other flange portion 16b, so that a pair of wide planes face toward the inner circumference and the outer circumference, respectively, in the radial direction of the cylindrical portion 16a. The field winding 20 is wound and superposed on the bottom of the cylindrical portion 16a, its first layer, second layer and so on, and a circumferential tape 17c is wound on the outermost circumferential portion, varnish being let to penetrate the multilayer portion of the field winding 20. As a result, work for connecting to a connecting terminal is facilitated, and aligning work becomes easier, with wire winding workability being improved. |
