PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To observe the shape of an endoscope always at an easily visible view point without being affected by changes in the posture of a patient. SOLUTION: A control unit 9 is composed of a system processor 21 to perform controls of a shape of endoscope detector and an arithmetic processing for the estimation of positions or the like by a detection signal from a sense coil, a drive circuit 22 to supply a drive current for generating an AC magnetic field in a source coil and a marker, a detection circuit 23 which outputs a magnetic field detection current to be inputted from the sense coil to the system processor 21 by converting it into a digital signal after amplified and an image generation circuit 25 to convert the digital data into an analog signal.
