METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING DATA TRANSFER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an unnecessary radio band and connection from being occupied by stopping data transfer and releasing the connection when the quality of the data transferred between a terminal and a base station through a radio channel section falls to produce a data loss and the quality is not improved even if a prescribed time elapses. SOLUTION: An ATM terminal A 100 superimposes an ATM cell on a TDMA frame 800 to transmit it to a radio channel section 900 and a base station 300 receiving it extracts the ATM cell 810 and transmits it to an ATM network 400. The base station 300 communicates with ATM terminals C: 600 and D: 610 and a radio quality measuring part 380 monitors a bit error rate being the deterioration in the quality of data in the radio channel section 900. The base station 300 measures the data quality from the bit error rate to transmit the data for control at the time of detecting the lack of the ATM cell and quickly detects the abnormality of a propagation state to release connection. Thus, the use efficiency of resources of a network is improved.
