PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain cast steel effectively improving the whole of heat impact resistance, high temp. corrosion resistance, wear resistance and toughness by adjusting the adding quantities of Ni, Al and Si. SOLUTION: This cast steel consists of by wt.%, 0.35-0.80 C, 1.0-4.0 Si, <=1.5 Mn, 15-30 Cr, 3.0-5.0 Ni, 0.1-4.0 Al and the balance Fe with impurities. C in this cast steel is made to contain >=0.35 wt.% for securing the wear resistance of the material. But in the case that the C becoming high in wt.%, since the heat impact resistance, high temp. corrosion resistance and toughness of the material, are lowered, this content is made to be <=0.80 wt.%. The alloy material of the heat resistant high chromium cast steel is kept at 900-1,200 deg.C for >=1 hr and after cooling, the tempering is executed at 600-700 deg.C. Thus, the heat resistant cast steel used under a high temp. atmosphere such as a material for forming a fire grate in an incinerator for waste disposal, is produced.
