PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing method for optical disk for digitizing the reproduced signal of a re-writable optical disk by a single A/D converter of the number of minimal bits. SOLUTION: An ID signal and a recording signal incorporated in a sum signal 22 or a difference signal 7 of plural electric signals detected by a photodetecting means 4 are selected by a signal multiplex means 34, and is hourly multiplexed, and an output signal 70 is obtained, and the polarity of the ID signal is arranged with the polarity of the recording signal by a polarity switch means 29, and the output signal 71 is obtained. Then, the DC level of this signal is controlled to a fixed level by an offset control means 37, and both of the sum signal 22 and the difference signal 7 are digitized by an A/D converter 62.
