PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system with a simple structure for charging a charge type battery built in an electronic equipment or a battery pack. SOLUTION: This charging system includes a charger 1 having charge voltage supply parts 13a, 13b connected to a charge circuit on the bottom face or side face of an opening 11, in which an electronic equipment 2 is inserted and having grooves 15a, 15b in both side facing the opening and an electronic equipment 2 inserted in the opening 11 and having charge voltage receiving parts 21a, 21b which make contact with the charge voltage supply parts 13a, 13b on the bottom face or side face and protrusions 22a, 22b fitted to the grooves 15a, 15b and guided on both side faces.
