PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization processing equipment wherein an agitating blade or an end plate does not block up a charging port or a taking-out port when its operation is stopped thereby rendering it easy to throw in waste or to take out carbonized matters. SOLUTION: In a carbonization processing equipment comprising a carbonizing chamber equipped with an apparatus for agitating waste, a first heating chamber formed so that it surrounds the carbonizing chamber to heat it and a second heating chamber equipped with a second burner to burn unburned gas generated in the carbonizing chamber, the agitating apparatus comprises an agitating blade, an end plate, a shaft 11 of the agitating apparatus, a sprocket 8, an agitating motor, a shaft for the agitating motor, a sprocket and a chain 9 interlocking two sprockets, the end plate having plural tops having a notch formed between adjacent tops, and a device for stopping the agitating blade at a specified position (e.g. a combination of a projection 22 provided on the sprocket 8 with a limit switch 23) is equipped on or around the sprocket 8.
