PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector for double locking connection terminals inserted in a connector housing with a locking lance and a retainer, in the form easily and positively detecting whether they are locked or not with the retainer. SOLUTION: An electric connector is provided for double locking connector terminals 29 inserted in a connector housing 21 with a locking lance 23 and a retainer 24 inserted through a retainer fitting hole 28 provided in the connector housing 21. A hook 34 is formed between an end 30 defined in the inserting direction of the retainer 24 and a rear end 31 therebehind so as to be locked to the rear edge 28B, located in opposition the inserting direction of the connection terminals in the retainer fitting hole 28, at a preset position on the retainer 24.
