PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat and shock resistances of cartridge cases by molding the cartridge cases from a polypropylene polymer compsn. contg. a dispersed inorg. filler. SOLUTION: The magnetic disk cartridge consists essentially of an upper cartridge case 1, a cleaning sheet 2 stuck to the inside of the case 1, a magnetic disk 3, a lower cartridge case 4 and a cleaning sheet 5 stuck to the inside of the case 4. The cartridge cases are molded from a polypropylene polymer compsn. contg. a dispersed inorg. filler. This compsn. is prepd. by adding an adequate amt. of an acid treated olefin polymer to a polypropylene polymer as a base. The inorg. filler has been surface-treated with an epoxy resin so as to form a thin cured epoxy resin film on the surface. An adequate amt. of an amine curing agent may be added in the surface treatment.
