PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability. SOLUTION: Property information (Properties, Pages, Entry date) on files which are already recorded, retrieval result information on the file, and index information Title, Chapter, Rank) are put together by every files and entered into a single file list. In the file list, the same mark (file tag 71) is added to files (No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, and 14) for which the same process is wanted to be performed. Then the files (No.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, and 14) given the same mark in the file list are searched for and a specific process is performed for the found files. The specific process comprises inputting of an index, printing of a file, storing of a scanned file, etc.
