SOLUTION: A radio mobile station PSS is provided with a mode designations witch 34, informs a base station BSS1 of mode designation information designated and entered by the mode designation switch 34, and the base station BSS1 decides a speech channel based on the mode designation information and a display device 32 displays a mode of the set speech channel, and in the case of conducting hand-off during a speech, when the speech channel is changed from the digital mode into the analog mode, an alarm is raised to inform the user of it.
