PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a belt fixing device and an image forming device capable of always accurately detecting a temperature, irrespective of the positional fluctuation of a heating tension roller caused by a belt tension fluctuation generated when the belt travels and the displacement of the roller for preventing the biasing of the belt. SOLUTION: This device 30 is provided with plural rollers including a heat roller and a fixing roller over which a belt 3 is stretched, a press-contact member which is arranged oppositely to the fixing roller through the belt 3, a heating means installed on the heat roller and for heating the belt 3, a temperature detecting means 82 for detecting the temperature of the belt 3 or the temperature of the heat roller and a supporting means 81 for supporting the temperature detecting means 82. And, the supporting means 81 and the heat roller are integrated into one body and the position of the temperature detecting means 82 with reference to the heat roller is kept constant to constitute the belt fixing device and this image forming device.
