PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increases of required band and delay even when images to be composited are increased and to easily change the method of composition in an image transmission system for transmitting and compositing the plural images. SOLUTION: A transmission line 15 is the transmission line time-divided by access unit and capable of transmitting packets by using the respective access units. A layout information generation means 14 output layout information for indicating the display position after the images of respective image fetch means 11 are composited for each frame. In these respective image transmitters 10, an image conversion means 103 converts the size of the image fetched by the image fetch means 11 to a size indicated at the display position of the received layout information. A counter means 102 measures the number of the access units, and when it becomes the number corresponding to the display position, instructs a delay means 104 of outputting of image signals converted.
