<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club shaft making it possible to prepare a club most suitable for each golfer on the basis of objective analysis of golf swing which is therefore classified into four types, and quantitatively grasping four types of clubs. SOLUTION: Swing made by a golfer can be classified into four types (I-type, P-type, D-type and J-type) regardless of the skill (a beginner, a middle-grade player or a professional player), the sexuality or the age of a player. On the basis of this fact, golf club shafts are classified into four types corresponding to the type of each golfer in response to detection signals from a first strain gage attached to a first side facing in a striking direction, a second strain gage attached to a second side facing in an address direction forming a right angle with the striking direction, and a third strain gage capable of measuring torsion of the shaft. Further, these four shaft types are specified by at least one of torques and kick points.</p> |
