摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a multiaxial type pressing fabric capable of being jointed in an endless form during being installed on a pressing part. SOLUTION: A multiaxial type pressing fabric 70 capable of being jointed on a machine for a pressing part of a paper machine comprises foundation fabric layers assembled by spirally winding a fabric belt by many adjacent turns. Filling yarns are removed from each turn of the fabric belt at folds to form untied parts of warp yarns. A foundation fabric having joint loops 60 along two side edges and capable of being jointed on a machine is placed between a first fabric layer 40 and a second one 42 of a flattened foundation fabric. The joint loops extend outwardly from both untied parts of warp yarns between the layers 40 and 42 which are laminated each other by being sewn-in with a beating material 66 made of staple fibers passing through the layers 40 and 42. The pressing fabric 70 is coupled in an endless form by inserting a pintle 62 into a passage formed by intertwining the joint loops 60 during being installed on a paper machine.
