PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prepreg composed mainly of an organic fiber and with improved moisture absorption and a laminate by compounding a base material formed of a liquid crystalline polyester fiber and a curable epoxy resin composition. SOLUTION: A prepreg is obtained by compounding a base material formed of a liquid crystalline polyester fiber and a curable epoxy resin composition. The liquid crystalline polyester fiber is a fiber which has an ester bond and is made up of a liquid crystalline polymer. In addition, the liquid crystalline polyester fiber is formed of a liquid crystalline polyester and a polyester amide compound derived from an aromatic or an aliphatic dihydroxy compound, an aromatic or an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, an aromatic hydroxycarboxylic acid, an aromatic diamine or an aromatic hydroxylamine or an aromatic aminocarboxylic acid and derivatives thereof. The curable epoxy resin composition is a curable resin composition containing an epoxy resin as a component. |
