PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating method capable of removing heavy metals such as Cd contained in the viscera of the fishery products in a good efficiency by a simple facility. SOLUTION: This method for treating for removing heavy metals contained in the viscera of the fishery products comprises a first process of performing a pH adjustment of a solution 2 containing the above heavy metals and a second process of dripping the above pH-adjusted solution into a treating tube 3 filled with a zeolite 4. The first process is to adjust the solution at approximately pH 6-7 and the mean particle diameter of the zeolite 4 used in the second process is preferably made as 0.5-2 mm.
