摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release mechanism of an opening/closing element lock device having enhanced operating stability by preventing the abutting position of a subsidiary lever against a locking plate from varying even if the position of the subsidiary lever is varied. SOLUTION: The pressing part 12a of a subsidiary lever 12 comprises a bent surface bent in the direction of its axis of pivotal attachment to an opening lever 13 and is formed into a circular surface whose center is located at the axis of pivotal attachment, and a spherical projection 5c is formed at the abutting part 5b of a locking plate 5, so that even if the pressing part 12a of the subsidiary lever 12 and the abutting part 5b of the locking plate 5 are moved relative to each other, the pressing part 12a of the subsidiary lever 12 is bent in the direction of the axis of pivotal attachment to the opening lever 5, i.e., the direction in which they are moved relative to each other. Thus, the abutting position of the pressing part 12a of the subsidiary lever 12 against the abutting part 5b of the locking plate 5 is always on the spherical projection 5c and the distance from the pivoted center of the locking plate 5 to their mutual abutting point is not varied, preventing variation in releasing force and in the stroke of a releasing operation and enhancing the operating stability of the release mechanism.</p>
