PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit high in operation speed and low in power consumption. SOLUTION: A means SWHn for controlling the supply of large current and small is inserted between a MOS transistor circuit LGn and power sources VCC and VSS. The SWHn is controlled along the flow of a signal from input IN, current is switched to large and small and it is supplied to the MOS transistor circuit LGn. At the time of standby, current is made small and low power consumption property is obtained. At the time of an operation, current is made large and high speed property can be obtained. At the time of switching, high speed property is not lost.
