PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiplex system capable of specifying the position of a fault and inspecting and analyzing the cause of the fault without detaching a failed device from the system. SOLUTION: The output of control data from a controller 1 or 2 having no control right from a monitoring circuit 3 is inhibited but sensor data and data output are continued so as to specify the position of a fault and inspect and analyze the cause of the fault. Consequently only control right is deprived of without detaching the failed device from the system and the specification of the failed position and the inspection/analysis of the cause of the fault can be executed.
