PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To screw an eye joint to the bottom of an inverted type damper by a double nut mechanism. SOLUTION: When an eye joint 16 is screwed to the male screw part 14 of a piston rod 10, the tip of a jig is engaged with the hexagonal hole 19 of the piston rod 10 through a jig insertion hole 18 and through female screw hole 17 formed on the eye joint 16 and the eye joint 16 is rotated and screwed in a state that the piston rod 10 does not corotate.
